hey, i am currently running 24/9 and the chain is ever so slightly loose. i am trying to decide whether it is worthwhile to change my gearing to 25/9 or some other gearing to make it perfect.

any thoughts?

Chad, any plans for other colors in the future for the 2013 year models?  I'd love to see a nice glossy white too.  The bikes look great, I'm definitely getting one soon.

We just started talking about different colors and white was mentioned a couple of times, it's a possibility. Stoked you're interested in one! Let me know if I can assist you in any way.

Got to ask...is this Troy's personal bike? I know he rode the Sabbath with four pegs and a Gyro...but this bike has short reach stem, what appears to be knurled pegs, and minimal offset forks.  He riding flatland these days?

The bike looks amazing.

Def Ride and Troy McMurray

The bike belongs to Eric Stefano, Troy was checking it out.

Changing the gearing will move the axle but, I'm not sure on the exact measurement.

The chain can make a difference too, I know some guys like the half-link chains because they can be adjusted in smaller increments and they wrap tighter around micro size drivers like 8t and 9t.

With so many different variables it might require a little experimenting. Hit me back if you would like any more assistance. Please post pics and let us know the outcome.

I'm good, thanks. How you doing?

The jig to build this frame currently allows for a standover between 7.75" and 8.375". I'm sorry that we can't make every single rider happy with the stock options but, we are confident with the options available.

What frame/standover height are you running now?

its 15.5 cm waltz,i think 6'' and i need it to be very low for one specific trick i am doing.
my foot is touching the top of the sc and i am loosing the flow if it is high.
the same thing is happenning with my funday street bike frame that has similar sc height.
i ll send you the trick in pm link of youtube so you can understand what i mean.
thanks

I got your pm, thanks for the video link, sick trick! I can see what you're talking about. I hadn't noticed that the Custom Intrikat frame section changed the standover height options, thanks for pointing that out. It looks like the guys in the shop will be able to adjust the top tube from anywhere in between 8.375" and 7.375" now. The current run of stock frames have a 7.75" s.o.

thank you very much for the nice words,chad.7.375'' with a low bb sounds like it has a lot of clearance.mine for example if i would build one with 11.5 bb height would be one inch higher at the tt and seatastays from the waltz that i ride now and this is very spacy and strong also.
maybe you should push a little the s&m department since they have a jig and they can make it lower now,i personally think 0.4'' is big difference for some people..my opinion though and that is for my personal riding style.ride on

Thanks for the kind words Chad, I truly love this frame and setup. I haven't changed a thing in I don't know how long. I shot this video bike check this morning after studying a bunch of macro vids the last few days:

Nice vid Rob. Liked the music and riding. I presume you like the longer reach of the redneck vs the shorter intrikat stem? What's the deal with all the hairline rust lines in your frame?

Remember Dax, I've got about a decade on you:) and longer reach means more wiggle room for my dated reflexes. The spider rusty things are pretty normal for a raw frame in the humid south, and without getting geeky camera tech on you, this is about 10X the magnification of what you normally see. TBH, I think they look kinda nice, like the frame is taking on it's own personality. Most raw frames do show some rust after time, but to me that's part of their character and I see no real danger or true weakness from it. Hope all is good in Mexico!
