KHE - White MAC tire - lasted 5 weeks

I was pleased to get the tire from KHE as a prize from the online battle. Once Ondo mentioned it was a white tire, I was still excited to get a tire non the less. I thought maybe they found a better compound for white rubber.

Nope.

The tire lasted me 5 weeks before it blew. Not from a running over anything. Heres the photos. Im sure everyone knows never to buy a white tire due to the rubber compound. I thought this was worth sharing.

seems like the tire is meant for those who only ride on one wheel and need the other only to roll on the ground between tricks

I've had this white version too, not 5 weeks but 2 months, and had big holes in it..
Now I've been riding the black mac 1's and in 3 years I've had 6 tires.. ( 2 tires a year)

dude after every session i scrape off the skidmarks from the ground and collect it, my tires last forever.

and those tires seem to suck. if they last for you either you don't spin or your floor generates rubber for the tires.

The black ones last for a while. Like others, I would go 6-7 months without having to get a tire replaced.

I can understand why KHE gave these way. no one in their right mind would pay money for these. The Primo V-monsters in white (years back) had the same problem. In fact so did the grey ones.

Yeah, 5 weeks seems a long time to me........  my black KHE's only last 2 weeks.

good post; as I've never had white tires I didn't realize they wore out faster than black ones. the more you know...
