Peace out
« on: September 13, 2010, 05:26:58 PM »
Hi ive been flatlanding for about 2 years now, but since my bike got stolen a couple of weeks ago, i think im goin to quit it. All of this stuff i learned was fun, the online battles too were a great part of this, but sadly i must get off.
Peace

That is a poor excuse to quit.

Your bike getting stolen is a setback, not a reason to quit. I've got some random old parts laying around in my garage... hit me up if (when!) you get your hands on another frame and I'll send you some stuff to help you get back on the bike.

I encourage your exit if you seriously refer to flatland as "flatlanding". Perhaps you should look towards a wonderful team sport like footballing or baseballing. Best of luck in your endeavors

You can always hop back on the wagon in the future.  I quit when I was about 14 and started back up when I was 34.  By the time you're my age god knows what they'll be doing on bikes!  You could be one of those guys or you could be like me and think 'Man, what if I never quit...?'

even when i was still on a lot of the basics of flatland i knew very early into biking that if my bike ever got stolen then i would automatically start focusing all my energy on getting a new bike. i blew like 1500 at least on FF over the last couple years. and if my bike got stolen i would be ordering parts right away i dont even care. if u dont get this feeling maybe flatland isnt your calling

Dont worry peoples i live with my parents so i cant buy a bike, when i get a job and stuff then ill get back to it, but i just got to put it aside for now. Cause for the past 2 years of my high school years, ive been failing, so i need to focus more on school work now. But ill still be logging on to check for events and stuff  ;D
