Kinda feel like some people undersold themselves a bit.

He started at 15 seconds before the end as the rules require. If he had cut the edit a little shorter it would have gone to 57, which wouldn't have put him one second past before the 15 seconds.

there was a small combo (which was like two small combos actually) in middle. it could have not been there..

Either way, his combos were much much much more difficult than what Spix did. A few seconds over is no reason to go the other way considering what tricks were done. It just shouldn't negate that. If you want, don't count the last combo to bring it down to like 45 seconds of tricks, and Dustyn still wins.
