huge pedal bosses...but these look a lot stronger than their previous cranks, so that's a plus!

These look really beefy for something w/ the St. Martin brand, heh. Sorta weird to just do a complete redesign vs. little improvements to last year's model. Like these cranks are from an entirely different dimension. And i take it these aren't gonna be aluminum, correct?

my understanding is:

2011 St Martin Evo cranks....

2.5 piece cromo cranks 150mm in length...500% more reliable.

Look for more improved St Martin for 2011.

Im not a fan of speaking too soon but at least they are aware of the fact that as a brand, their image needs improving in terms of association with reliabilty and consistant, strong parts.

love child of the s&m's prince alberts and odyssey's twombolts...
hope the crank arms won't snap off at the pedal bosses like the prince alberts did; would be better if they did a "wrapped-around" ala profile.

ugly?

how "pretty" do they need to be?  I was never concerned with my cranks appearance... as long as they worked and stayed out of my way!
