Lets plan a group flatland vacation in Costa Rica!

Luis Elias' War Jam is January 29th, 2011 in Nicoya Costa Rica. Mike Meza/Manuel Prado's Famous Ticos Jam is February 6th in Barva-Heredia Costa Rica. One week apart. Two great event one week apart in paradise with time for an amazing vacation in between. Who is in? Some of the people that have went to Costa Rica with me in the past for the Ticos Jam are Chase Gouin, Scott Powell, Bobby Carter, Fat Tony, Justin Miller, Jon Dowker, the entire A Bad Thing team and many others. We always have an amazing time. Not only are the flatland events awesome but Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful and affordable places to vacation anywhere in the world. Its not as far as you think either. Just a few hours from Houston or Dallas or you can fly there from many other places. We spend our time on the beach, surfing, boogie boarding, zip lines, hiking, volcanoes, going out at night, out on a catamaran seeing whales and dolphins, etc. The list is endless. Some of the most amazing times in my life have been spent here. Soooo, who is in for 2011?

anyone can go! In a month or so I will have my itinerary figured out and will post it. Anyone is welcome to come along. Food, hotel and transportation are cheap in Costa Rica.

If you want to do your own thing by yourself or with your own group that is cool as well. Lets just see how many people we can get to attend both events in Costa Rica and enjoy the country in between.

I was talking to Rodney from ATL about going to this event this year. Im all about traveling overseas but I generally don't like to go places unless I know someone else there, but if you guys are for sure going I would love to go! Yeah just let us know the details when you get them Pat!

Few riders were talking about this during Voodoo last year: The Ticos Jam...uh Huh...Ever since we promo'ed Bobby C's Tico Jam dvd, been captivated by the place and event itself. Actually before the DVD promo nite.

This is an event Riders should really consider in their must do list. You only live once in this body.
Save up and go.

Pat, you have outlined a very convincing itinerary...oh Sooooo near Mavericks Big Wave Contest.

Transportation TO costa rica however is not always cheap, unless your a fantastic swimmer!
