Is it almost R.I.P to my khe rip?
« on: August 01, 2010, 11:53:34 AM »
Noticed the other day that my crank arm had chipped my frame quite a bit even tho there is a 1cm gap between the chainstay and crank arm. Must have flexed over that much at sum point tho? Well my wheel is sitting in each dopout back exactly the same amount, but the wheel is almost rubbing on one side! When i looked down the bike with front wheel inbetween my legs lookng back at the rear triangle its totally bent to one side!!! The whole back end has shifted over, and worst of all i think i see a tiny crack in the dropout   I am gonna keep riding this frame till it can not be ridden any longer as i love it so much... But i dont think it has long to go...

Such a sad day for me

That sucks, I tried so hard finding one for myself and had no luck.

I went with a Colony Cube and I'm absolutly in love with this frame, check one out if you can't find another RIP.

That's funny, on my DaFunction it's the same thing, the hub looks like it's centered but the tire almost rubs on one side of the frame! And on the dropouts, I mean inside of them(in those little cuts) I see a crack (don't know if it's just paint chipping or else) too, on each one!

Hey,

Hard to heard man.
I live here in The Netherlands and we have a BMX shop called Pauls Boutique.
They have sale and they sell a KHE Rip. For only 125 Euro, new!

here a link: http://www.paulsboutique.nl/modules/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

Good luck with it.
Ride for fun!
