Is it me..Or do the tolerances on the center pieces not look repetitve. Also why the use of the bizhouse design? And not a straight forward toploader design with your own touches to it? Its basicly a bizhouse...Which i was anticipating this stem to be of good quality, and of the toploader/frontload design so i could get away from said bizhouse. O well, nice product.
I never even knew that Bizhouse had hollowed out sides in thier stems. I have only had an old Bizhouse years ago. I saw a pic of the slotted Bizhouse after we alredy finished the stems.
I have seen thier new one that is slotted but I have had this idea for quite some time. I prefer a front load stem. I dont know how I would have made a top load stem that is adjustable.

Hmmmmm, i understand your point about the adjustabillity. I kind of missed that as i was more focused on a quality part that rider input was accepted. But i do find somethings odd about..all of this..hmm. Best of luck Marcel.

i think a basic 32mm toploading stem without sharp edges and 6bolts would sell very well ;)

Marcel, I dont wish to put a damper on this but that looks very dangerous.
Could you please make sure that you test this out a good couple of weeks before you start to sell it as by leaving the bolts so long and with such open over hang could lead to some real problems.

This stem had been tested for a while now at 38mm. No problems at all! Love it! Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks for the possitive feedback. How many compression stems are out there? Alot This was  the design I drew out not based on any stem designs but just to keep it simple and light.

How much more simple could I have gotten with our stem looking as a final result? I have not ever seen a Bizhouse with slotted sides ever untill recently.

Nobody here is calling you out. Simply stating that that is a lot of overhang for small SHCS's. There is going to be a ton of torsion transmitted thru the stem via the handlebars and there isn't going to be much support with the long insert and longer SHCS's since everything will be hanging out the front of the rear body so much. The short ones will be fine, just a little weary of the long version.

From an engineering point of view, by leaving such a mass of bolts exposed you increase the threat of leverage. I personally believe you will find that anyone using this design will find bolt heads popping off left right and center. Not forgetting that the extra leverage will mess allot of peoples headtubes up with the wedge.

Let me also say, I am not trying to cause a problem.
But I am generally concerned about this design and possible dangers.
