Sickchild New Prototype Frame
« on: April 11, 2007, 09:18:52 PM »
Sickchild came up with a new prototype frame. According to Ed some more details on this frame will be available soon: "I do not know what the price is going to be just yet. There may be some options like brake mounts and colors. There will be an instrumental version with a straight down tube that will be very limited in numbers."
Weight: 4.275lbs = 2 kg
TT: 18.75"

Snap. That looks pretty damn good. It makes the joint on the downtubes look much more subtle than previous versions.

14mm drop outs please

Yes I want 14mm too !
Anyway, it's easier for 3/8" nankai's people to use adapters/tensionners than grinding dropout to 14mm...

Eh...I'm not too keen on it. I like the frame just the way it is (aqueduct) - I'd like to see a little lighter frame with brakemounts, but not change anything else.
You look like Marty McFly!

yes this frame is nice for one sick child,
i trust the most thing on  this frame will be that he is more low that before. and he have 10mm drupouths its cool :P, but me i am not interseting by this frame because, its like one really hold europĂ©en frame , no verry i tech bike, too much simple for me, and no really light, but its good for sickchild of wakup now on the new style, i trust its an good work for everybody -_- :P

The low TT has been on the cards since before Christmas, these things just take time.

Notice the seattube has been moved back and the BB lowered.

What did I tell ya Ed? Looks sick! You make one in 19.15" tt with a 13.5-14" back end and my old man-ness will be willing to break a hip riding it. The market is there...
Enough! I grow weary of your foolishness ninjas.
