Flatland World Classic report by Alain
« on: January 14, 2010, 09:59:13 PM »
Here is that Flatland World Classic report by Alain that we promised the other day!

"Japan is the land of Flat and Tokyo the city of shopping then when Yasuyuki asked me to come to judge, I didn’t think. I know the contest will be perfectly organized because the Japanese don’t mess. The best riders were invited to compete like a show for 10000 $. The contest has the same style as the Circle of Balance or Flatring, in a circle floor. All riders announced were there except for Terry (not ready) and Raphael..." - read the whole story.

Tsutomu just missed out on top 3 again! Argghh... (He's an old friend of mine so it's exciting to see him up at the top =).

Jesse's crash was just... owww. Hope he's recovering well. That video makes the floor look like it was just rained on or something.

Alain's article was pretty raw (in a good way). I lol'd after reading his "same, same, same" comments about York's runs. York has got so much more skill then what he puts up in contest runs; hope he'll just go all out some day...
