John Yull made me think I could learn how to do them...I am TERRIFIED right now. Its going to take some getting used to. I am going to try though since it is.....Trick of the Month. I always try the tricks even when I can't do them....Its all about the journey....

I tried a couple tonight. I have never tried letting go in the middle...that might be a way..but the thing I have a big issue with is my foot. Trying to wedge it in the tire with out hurting my foot. I dunno its pretty tough on me. I didn't get a how to yet but I did get some very impressives submissionss today. I will be working with video in the morning.

Alex just hit his first one. A few moments latter he did it again and I was able to get it on film.

That sounds like good advice...I might put a back brake on my bike if I have no luck otherwise...

I still want to try the rollback-onto-a-curb decade too...This week  :)

I've pulled a couple in my ventures, but currently I'm riding with a back brake. I just want to know, out of those who can do it, do you inadvertently hop the bike off the ground when you do them? I have a tendency to have the back wheel actually come off the ground when I try them brakeless. Weird.

that happens when i try too... i find that i actually pulling very very hard ( read it death grip on decades) thats why the backwheel comes off . try do them more ''soft'' should solve.
please dont set yourself on fire.

Keeping the rear wheel on the ground is all about your wrist position.  Twist your wrists a bit to get the rear wheel to pop up.  Turn them the other way to dig the wheel into the ground.  It works.  Personally I think they look sloppy when the wheel comes up so i keep it planted.
