Can't install Spanish BB in Zion Lowkee

(1/5) > >>

Vic:
I've been at it for 2 hours but this Sadio spanish plastic BB just won't get in that damn hole! I've tried hammering it in first to get it started, then used an axle in the middle with 2 washers on each side (as a vice) but no matter how many times I try it NEVER goes in straight, it just has to go in on an angle!
I've done this before with a Simple and Ares plastic BB and it only took 5-10 mins, not much effort. But this just won't go in! I don't think it's the BB, I think it's the frame. I compared the Sadio BB with a normal BB and they're both exactly the same size.

I think I might just have to sand it a bit to get it to fit. It's not going in the way it is.

Anyone else with Lowkees have this problem?

TJ Perry:
Try a different bottom bracket to see if the inner diameter of the frame is the problem.

EZChris:
bit of sandpaper on the inside of the BB shell, might be some paint in there or somthing.

Hugo @ Portugal:
Spanish BB's are available in 19mm and 22mm, be sure to check that out.
