FU6?
« on: December 17, 2009, 11:24:26 PM »
So, what's the plan guys? I'm ever so eager to make it this year! And we all know that the more notice that's given the better the turn out.

Are the dates still March 5-7, 2010 ?

If you are for real, you probably spend enough time on your bike that there's no time left for talking sh*t on message boards.

Of course, if all you do is talk sh*t on message boards, you're probably not as good or as cool as you think you are.

Hey
I would like to make a suggestion for this years FU comp,
Could we lay down plywood for the contest area for
better grip? All you need is plywood & duck tape.
That way people that spin would be able to grip
the floor better, and it would label the contest area better.
I've seen it used in quite a few Euro contests.
just a suggestion :p
LET [span style=\'color:orange\']LOOSE[/span] and never doubt yourself because if you do, you will fall.

The event is in a different location this year and i hear the floor is better.  it is in the better living center bldg.  i don't believe that there are any dirt jumps in that bldg so the dust level may not be as high.

It doesnt matter what building it's in. They're all connected by a collapsing wall. You can fit a cruise ship in there for the most part. I've seen it. As well as a plane that was put together in there piece by piece. sh*t is huge! Floor is as sh*tty as it's always been no matter where you go. Just in the better living center it's usually covered in hay and sh*t because thats where they keep the cows and other various livestock for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

At the last Texas round up they used a full 2 liter bottle of soda with water and it was super tacky
and lasted for a couple hours.
It was vary nice to ride on

http://www.explace.on.ca/planners_guide/venue/better_living_centre.php

Its really cool that you all got a space for Flatland on its own. It was so annoying having everything Bike related in one space, including being next to the Toronto BMX jam.  Now that actually felt like going to a farm or circus...too much too much. It always took away what you all do in the old space.

I really hope you all celebrate this event big, because now FU is on its own and you can direct things the way you all like it. Congrats on so many levels!!!
