I wonder if the water tunnel scene influenced the RAD movie where they go "ass sliding"

Its funny, but as little kid, BMX Bandits and Rad were the greatest movies ever. Obviously as an adult, they are the most corny, cheesy movies ever, but still hold retro value.

I just picked up a mix DVD with BMX bandits and two other old films on it at the dollars store but haven't watched it yet. Watched part of it on-line a long time ago but never the entire thing.

Rad is great though. Its totally a retro family film but I force anyone I can to watch it and usually get some good laughs at the dance part.
Enough! I grow weary of your foolishness ninjas.

As corny as both of these movies are, I think they both got a lot of people into BMX too.  I know Rad Dad says Rad got him into riding.  That's pretty cool.

It's funny... I saw this movie for the first time just a couple weeks ago.  My friend recommended it to me because he knows I ride and he knows I love 80's movies.

As crappy and low budget as Rad is... it still blows BMX Bandits out of the water.  But I like both.
