Suelo 2010

Anybody know whats happening with Suelo in 2010?

They seem to be a little quite as of late, and I wonder if they will have any new products for the future as I cant remember seeing anything announced for the interbike shows last August.

Does anyone still ride for them?

They never really have much in the way of new product's... Maybe they just test stuff more than most company's, and if they make a good part they don't keep changing it. I personaly prefer company's like this, as i think all there products are quality.. IMO ;D

Tires look nice, im kinda anxious to check some out...Slick tread center for smoother rolling and possibly cut down on that *mass spin/turbine* tire peelage my G's go through..All the while not being a slick tire *Because hey..scuffin aint that bad/ IE why i dont like comets/ASM's*

Also looks like Viki is back with Fly/Suelo..So wonder whats going to be in the works as far as a collaboration goes there..

Info from Suelobmx.com:

New suelo tires

New circular design on the sides for improved grip that reduces the depth of the patern gradually to reduce weight and one piece centre line to make a faster, smoother and grippiest tire while rolling, and the solid centre line make a more durable tire that wears off less that regualr tires and this make the tire to last a lot longer.

It is made with It is made with Silkworm material, the same as the popular Ruben tires, to make a more puncher proof and rigid flatland tire.

It comes is 20X1.75 and is available in Black and Wite.

Also is going to be available in two types:

-Foldable with Kevlar bed..... weight: 280 grs. / 9.8 oz.

-Regular with steel bed.... weight : 345 grs. / 12.1 oz.

Yes, they are uglier than my maths teacher from the 4th grade, but they're light, if they cost the same as Frequency G's I'll give them a try.

I like the way they look, but performance wise.. well they were made for flatland.. Viki rides 'em.. Coco rides 'em too..

I think they look like tires, and we shouldn't complicate a circular piece of rubber as long as it gives you grip on the surface you ride.

look is the key word I hope they perform well. I need something that will last longer than a G(and those have relatively long life)

well on the site that Hugo gave us the prices of the G and this tire are identical. So that means on Dans and FF its a great possibility that they will be the same price too.
