When allot of companies start to heattreat their frames they give them names :
Odyssey : 41 Thermal
FBM : 4baked?

I think Ares should call their technique "short tempered" ;)

17,9 is a nice figure i would love to ride such a bike. Many people talk about short TT but CS are still pretty long so I think it`s balanced.

Anyway if you don`t like it go and buy any other its your choice. Also remember ARES is a JAPANESE brand. As I informed people in Japan all are approx. 1,6-1,7 m long. In this case for them short TT is the best alternative.

Those who talk about KGB`s "psychonecta style" - from now there is no KGB...
Better to ride not so smooth but with your own style, than trying to be a copy.

As mentioned many times before, these frames are for the short guys. so i cannot see any problems with the toptube length. it is not for everyone, hence the limited numbers per batch.

or if yao ming wants to do a cross footed death truck.

how much does it cost?
If you have to ask then you don't need to know.

The question was pure orientative, I'm looking to buy a garuda frame and was wondering about the price difference between the old one and the 2010 version that's all.
Vato loco.I ♥ to Flatland on skyscrapers.

why change something that was superb!!

the new design is missing something, it is like the new ares version of a psychonecta. I only hope that as a result of the new design they don't give you the same crap about how it is impossible to make a longer TT version for regular sized guys.

K

No offense but you really have no idea what your talking about. Move on from this and get over it. This is not the size frame for you its for people that want a 17.9 frame. You just can't seem to accept the fact that they have no interest in making them bigger and they do not want to because of design beliefs. It Hiro's choice and belief.

As too changes, they are improvements and adjustments that Hiro wanted to make. With a design there's many intricacies that I am sure Hiro would love to talk with you about, but the language barrier is just too much.

I trust Hiro's experience and expertise in Flatland and what he wants to get out of a frame.

5'8"
Remember, grammar is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse", and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

I just started getting into flatland stuff about 3 days ago and suck so far, I blame my sh*tty bike and lack of practice.

Now if I rode Flatland...it would be an Ares Bike...you can't go too wrong with a name like Garuda. In my culture that name represents incredible strength and power. A very special bird indeed, by the way the A at the end in Garuda is silent.
