« on: October 11, 2009, 08:53:05 PM »
I'm thinking about getting some new tires at some point. Anybody know any cheap yet solid tires??

P.S. how do i know when my tires are wearing out?

ride your tires until the threads are showing.

it will be eazy to tell when you are at that point as the most worn areas will start to show white fuzzy crap poking thru.   thats the threads of them.

the best dollar per value that can be spent in tires
are odyssey frequency g tires regular kind.   steel bead -  not kevlar or p lite or any of that
just regular odyssey g tires are hands down the best bang per buck spent
tire wise

Good things don't come cheap! ;)
Remember, grammar is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse", and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

I just started getting into flatland stuff about 3 days ago and suck so far, I blame my sh*tty bike and lack of practice.

I always ride MAC1's.....for a short period I was unable to order them....so I rode a frequency G steel bead and in 2 weeks I was still a couple months away from worn out.  With my normal riding I go through a couple KHE's a month.

If you want a good, long-lasting tire for a good price you can't beat the steel bead G-tire I totally agree with Brian on that one.
