What Means Crackpacker ?
« on: September 03, 2005, 11:30:55 AM »
Hi,

I was chatting with Ilan in the morning and somehow we started talking about trick names and their sense ( the real meaning if the words )

For names like Hitchhiker, Cliffhanger, Backpacker it's quite funny ... but what means "crackpacker" for example ?

LoL A dude o packs crack? lol Grammatically I think that's the meaning although it doesn't make much sense when applied to the context.

I mean:

Packer:

- One that packs: a packer of boxes in a warehouse.
- One whose occupation is the processing and packing

Crack:

- To break or snap apart.
- To move or go rapidly
- A potent form of cocaine that is obtained by treating the hydrochloride of cocaine with sodium bicarbonate to create small chips used illicitly usually for smoking

LOL

Ilan,
Hey man what's up! Thanks for the comliment. I had a lot of fun in France and cant wait to go back, so many good riders and the vibe was on. Oh ya, the crack packer! The name came to be from a conversation I had on the phone with a rider named Eric Emmerson. I was explaining the trick to him over the phone and he didn't believe it could be done, and said" oh yea right your smokin crack." Since it was similar to the backpacker I decided to call it a crackpacker. Well I'm off to my night riding spot, thanks again. Ride on.

Peace,
Pete Brandt

well from my learning experience of this trick, when i took a peg leg off by accident and the bars would twist and i would fall having the barend up my ass. so i though crack packer was like it goes up your butt crack and packs up your sh*t haha

39.
Remember, grammar is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse", and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

I just started getting into flatland stuff about 3 days ago and suck so far, I blame my sh*tty bike and lack of practice.

Pete is a cool dude... I hung out and rode with him a few days last year when he rode the shows here... in about 10 minutes you think you know him like 5 years. And there isn't a trick he doesn't know how to do. I asked him to show me how to do some trick he's say I havent done those in years and end up pulling them the first time. That dude has skills. :)
