Advice from a Dad

If your love of flatland is as big as you say then my advice would just be an expansion of what TJ said on page 1......

Ask for an explanation of what it is you did wrong, try to find a common ground to resolve the situation.

I am a father of two and "taking away" & "yelling" get me the most attention, but what I would love most is when my children stop and tell or ask me something instead of being satanically challenged youth about it.  Maybe your Dad has a few pet peeves that really get to him and something your doing, even inadvertantly, is bugging the crap out of him.

Remember to talk to him, I'm sure that's all that he wants........

Quit pissing him off?  lol

If he is noticing your passion for flatland so much that he's using it against you as punishments, you are definately headed in the right direction.  :)

(pigs eat everything so only the bones will be left)

american domestic hogs and wild boar eat bones too.
that how we get rid of deer, and even other pig, remains.
not sure what you have over there?

Robert Pickton's pigs didn't clean things up nearly as well as he thought they would.

if you screw up and your dad takes your bike away, realize that acting like crap has consequences, and if you don't want to deal with consequences, don't screw up. for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction.

OK look, my Dad was as hard on me as anyones, but it was also my Dad who realized that I wasn't just playing and took me to my first AFA contest in 1986. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you really love to ride he will see it and support you in your journey. The rest is up to you.
