huh thats bad man. i know how u feel...
in my case, all the pain (exept from direct hits in my shins etc) gone away with good streaching before and after each sessison. i take 20min, before and after. and i know it maybe sounds too much but believe me its worth it :beer:
+ water man. it helps a lot if u can go to the pool once a week or so. i feel very relaxed after being in the water....
just try it, hope it helps

I don't know what the answer is man... but I'm in the same boat. Left elbow gets a shock every time I put the front wheel down. When its really bad, grip strength suffers greatly. I'm just trying to take it easy.

Good luck...

This may be a off question, but;

A. What kind of grips are you running?(Thin? Thicker type grips?)

B. How is your bike set-up?

same issue man. elbow on the arm that holds the seat.  i try to keep it stretched and use a lot of theragesic.  one thing i have done is not to ride on it "cold" and make sure its loose before a session.

recently it got worse so i wrapped my odi longnecks with tennis tape. exactly like the ares tape:

might be a placebo but it seemed to help.  the tape on top of the grips is comfy.

i ride suelo Tubo grips on og caramel handlebar (has a decent amount of flex)

and my set up is that rear part of bike is heavier even though i concentrate on the front for the time being.

try less psi in your tires.
warm your body good before you ride.
check exactly in which place you have the pain in a doctor because it can cause you tendonitis/epicondilitis and go worse and worse.
