Chicago Flatland Jam 2009

I just got word from Alex at Nocturnal the Bicycle Film Festival has set aside some room for a flatland area.  For those of you who came last year you know it was a good time.

This year it is August 16th (Sunday) 1:30 PM, Emerald St. behind The Skylark 2149 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL 60608.

Should be a bunch of us there.  A lot of the Chicago crew is telling me they'll be there.

There will be a lot of stuff going on.  It is free to ride but I think you need passes or tickets to get into the films or events.  That area has a lot of galleries.

 hey paul!! unfortunantly, im gonna miss this year. i have a wedding here in st. louis that day. hope everyone has a good time! cant wait to see pics.

also to awnser the question everyone keeps asking, yes, im planning a late summer/early fall st. louis jam. hopefully some of the chicago guys can make it again.

I'm there.  Last year was really funny with those guys dressed up in Mexican wrestling masks and that whole scene.  I hope they are there again.

Jerr6 Th actual location is on Emerald behind the Skylark and the Currency Exchange.  It looks to be flat.

I am glad so may people are planning on making it.  It should be a good time.  A lot of other stuff will be going on as the Bicycl Film Festival will be turing the whole area into a block party.
