Currently the Hoffman Strowler is available in 18.75" and 19.75" but I get requests for other sizes. Most often the request is for 19" and 19.5". There is no way Hoffman is going to offer more than 2 sizes though. What do you think the 2 ideal sizes are for this frame?

Pat,

Do you think a seat tube adjustment could be angled to about 69 degrees?
This way it would add that extra .25 for riders.
Maybe just a small batch could be made this way(?)
***Oh, off topic, but for the past 10 years I have never thanked you for all your help , so THANK YOU =)***

Take Care,
Tim

I personally think 19-19.5 are right. because first 19.75 is a lil to long for a flat frame, although 18.75 is. the reason I would go for 19, 19.5 is because one of the supposed selling points was that the strowler can ride more than flatlan, but a 18.75 TT can't. most people looking for a 18.75 TT frame are probably turned off by the 5lbs, but if the frame is marketed as more of a hybrid frame than a 5lb frame is acceptable(not that a 5lb frame is bad at all).

edit: As you said the hoffman won't consider more than two sizes but what about more than two colors. The yellow color was extremely poopular(and I never had a chance to buy one -_-) or what about a limited(or not so limited) Chrome version.

The current sizes are 18.75" and 19.75". So why not make an 18.25" for the short dudes and a 19.25" for the taller ones?

19.3.

Its a good medium between 18.75 and 19.75. You really dont want just a 19 as that isnt that much bigger than the 18, and same for 19.5 but other way round.

Guys, thinks of the short riders. Death trucks on an 18.8" TT frame are a pita for short riders. Do you think we have balls of steel?

good replies so far. Keep in mind I am looking for the 2 ideal sizes for THIS frame. It seems the people that want really small frames have not been drawn to the Strowler. Based on the feedback I have been getting through email and phone, 19" and 19.5" are the most often requested sizes. This thread is a test to see if that demand is accurate or not. Keep up with the discussion.

Pat,

there are 3 of us here in Portland riding the 19.75 tt frame and we are all very happy with it. So I think it would be a shame to get rid of that size as there are really no other flatland frames that are that long.

My ideal sizes for this frame would be a 19 or 19.2 and the 19.75. If they get rid of the 19.75 I hope they do not go shorter than 19.5.

Seems alot like the 19.75 after all. Maybe a 19.3 to go with it. 19 i feel shouldnt be left out either,but...likes been said..if people are going to buy a 19- frame there probably not going to look at a strowler, so...my vote is 19.3 and 19.75

Patrick,

I love my 18.75" tt. I would ride a 19" tt if that was the smallest available and still be happy. I definitely would not be interested in anything bigger than that, personally.

18.5 and 19.5 FTW! And shed about 1/2 a pound would be great. I'm 5'7" and my 18.75 has always felt a fuzz long. And 19.75 seems too long for most.

While we are at it we may as well pick the next batch of colors? I'm thinking a poll is in order for both the lenght and color.

I ride an 18.75 Strowler, am 6' 02", and I love it.  THOUGH...if I were Hoffman, I would go with 19 and 19.75.  The reason for this...is other companies basically cover the shorter frames, plus the fact that it seems to me that a lot of older riders are attracted to the Strowler...and from what I have seen and heard, these riders often like longer frames.  Maybe some folks, like me...grew up riding 20+ frames.

I love my 18.75, but I also run a 35mm stem and a laid back post on it.
