ok, just got word from Danny Parks that this years King Of NewYork(KONY) will once again have flatland a part of it. :mellow:
not sure if its gonna be a jam type deal or an actual contest yet, but either way, mark your calenders for August 8th at Tompkins Square Park in NYC.
this is not to be confused with the NYC/BKNY Jam, nor is it to take away from other NYC jams.
its just another opportunity for us all to get out there, chill, n ride, n support/push flatland!
a lot of young kids who just ride park or street have not seen flatland in real life yet...could be a good chance to show em what its all about.

so...

August 8th will be flat dat at KONY

and...

August 9th will most likely be street/park day

-more details as they become available.

ok, so the flat part of KONY will just be a JAM type deal.
funding isnt there to throw a full blown flat comp UNLESS enough people say thats what they want. all expenses are coming directly out of Danny Parks pocket for this year from what im told.
the date of Aug 8th still holds firm btw.
come on out and ride!!! :mellow:

If one ofyou guys (Budz or Roy) reminds me closer to the day, i will be there to chill. Still dont have a bike again, but id love to see everyone and maybe borrow a ride for a few minutes  :P
