Global-flat goes Japan
« on: February 17, 2007, 11:28:35 PM »
A dream is becoming reality, for the first time global-flat is going to rock the land of the rising sun. I'm going to represent global-flat at the Circle of Balance next weekend. A huge thanks goes out to Red Bull and Andy Zeiss for making this trip possible. If the technic is not going to be too uncooperative then you can expect some up-to-date news next week. In the meantime check out the interviews with the COB riders on FatBMX: Frank Lukas, Travis Collier, Terry Adams, Mike S, Keelan Philips, Alex Jumelin, Martti Kuoppa and Matt Wilhelm.

Hot damn.  Congrats, Martin.  It's great to see that you're getting some benefits from all of the time and effort you put in on this site.  I would love to see Japan someday myself.  Can't wait for the coverage, should be incredible.

Please please PLEASE put up the runs and not just a compilation video. I think a lot of people have their eyes on this contest and it would be good to see what actually goes down so that there can be some accountability (not saying there needs to be) on the final scores.

So what would you like to see ? The final battle ? The last 5 battles ? More ?

I would watch everything too for sure, but if you could at least have the full runs for the final and semis, and highlights of the rest it'd be cool.
Of course.... more work to edit a highlights video than to put up 17 unedited battles..... ;-)

yeah it would be cool to see the runs like you would if you were there, all bails, everything. you'd have to do much less editing too like said above. how long is the actual comp?

but why watch a 1 minute run and then have him step down? i prefer the spectacular bails, like flying off the bike or flipping :D
