Yo i say score the pivotal setup if you're thinking about it. You won't have to worry about stripping your post overtightening the guts to keep the rails from sliding around on you. I have been impressed with the strength of the posts (mine's a primo) since i previously bent 2 non-pivotal posts. Go for one of the flatland style seats so the hard plastic on the back of it will protect your seat vs a primo balance for example that will get shredded up if you're sketchy on stick B's or dumptrucks.

I like to be able to slide my seat back/forwards on the rails.

I'm all for things being adjustable, pivotal seats remove that adjustment ability!

Pivotol is the way forward. I love my collier saddle, so light and simple.

I just don't like the pivotal seats. They don't seem to have enough of an advantage, and they make me think of those old Uni mini seats.
