scuffing, doing maual without the body n rear wheel, i saw once in BACO video n athensjam4 vclip.

okkk you mean an unicycle ... I think it can help you to get some feeling for balance but I don't think it helps for several tricks

I think the idea is to improve front wheel tricks. The commonest set-up is a stem and a handlebar at the top of the post (where the saddle would be on a traditional unicycle) and have pegs instead of crank arms/pedals. It helps with scuffing, rolling on the front wheel, that kinda thing.
