Jomopro Flatland contest
« on: February 05, 2009, 02:51:45 AM »
Yes, this belongs in the events forum but it is such big news I want to post it here for everyone to see. Hopefully it even gets stickied. Anyway, the big news is that the Jomopro contest has added flatland for 2009. For those who don't know, the Jomopro event is probably the biggest skatepark contest outside of Xgames/DewTour events. It takes place at Autumn Skatepark in Joplin, Missoui. April 3-5. If the flatland event is successful this year then it will be a permanent part of the event in the future. So, we need everyone to be there. Its only 2 months away. Make your travel plans now. Pros and Ams both. We need this event to really be something special. Post if you plan to go and keep the thread alive. Pass the word.

Hmm, it's either Toronto, or this one.  I'm thinking...this one.
The following is the truth.  The preceeding is a lie.

You should probably just go, or else you're gonna have to deal with me constantly harrassing you to go, even with your money woes.

See, i want to go to Toronto.. but like... It's strange what you guys do with that event because you hold it in the dead of winter (which I understand) inside of a convention center (which makes sense), but somehow you thought it was a good idea to make the contest floor an ICE rink despite all the trouble you guys go through to move the contest away from cold weather.

Hey, blame the Bike Show who decides to hold a bicycle show in March. A month where very few people can acutally get out to ride. Let alone compete in a huge contest.

Seems like you're doing a lot of travelling Ron!  Awesome, can I expect to see you at the Toronto contest this year?!
