I'm trying them too but as soon as I try to bring the seat back from a double footed steamroller, I loose my balance, even if I master the steamroller

Oh and and by the way, has anyone some tips for not touching the ground while riding in a steamroller or whiplash, everytime I ride in, me left foot needs to touch the ground 1 time and then I can balance them forever and ride out, it just doesn't stay in the air like it should and always touches the ground

I used to have this same issue and to some extent I still do. First the problem is your not committing and leaning forward enough. You really do have to lean a bit farther forward than what you think or feel is needed. It is the oddest feeling like your going to lean too far and go over. If you get that lean right, that tendency to put your foot down goes away.

After you get that right the best advice I can give is to pay attention. "No $hit." right? But the only time I do that "one foot tap" now is when I am not paying attention so much to doing the ride in. If I don't pay enough attention I have a tendency to fall back to not leaning enough and here comes the skip-roller.

Hoep that helps.

Oooh yeah, I think that's what I'm doing wrong, I realize it now. Thank you I will practise it this evening if I can to go to my rain spot

And nice riding, mannie, sometimes, I think about riding street, but I like it less than flatland because it's easier to get hurt if you fall. The only things I attempt are no-footers over speed bumps or from boardwalks, manuals and rolling backwards from quarter pipes like in your video, but not often.

Think about cherry pickers, surfers, bar rides, miami hoppers and handstands and all their variations. I think these tricks are as cool if not more than new school tricks.

Well, no.

you might consider punching yourself in the face every time your foot dabs on that trick, to correct it.  :P

I'd be tempted to punch myself in the face over something like that, if it kept up long enough.  ^_^

Fortunately, I won't need to do any of these, because I got it yesterday after about half an hour, thank you Jake, I know it was really simple, but I just didn't think about leaning more forward and you made me realize it.  ;D
