I have owned st martin darwin frame + down town frame.

I would expect the new stuff to be equaly nice.
spanish bb = no problem.  actually
theyr a little cheaper to replace bearings if one goes bad on ya.

The Darwin frame sucked! It flexed so bad i thought it was going to snap in 2! On the other hand i had a class x 2 and it was solid, just not my ''cup of tea'' to ride such a tiny frame...but hey, i can say i did, it's just not good for my specific type of progression, and where i am/where i needed to be @ that time....

I bet it wont last long enough based on your style of riding.
(dont get me wrong, it looks really nice ..... but I bet it wont last for your needs)

[ OFFTOPIC ]
I can't keep thinking how ridiculous that sounds everytime somebody writes it.

It's not your problem, I just don't get how "logical" it can be for some people to assume that a frame suits some kind of riding style.

Every frame should be suitable for any riding style, come on.. It's hard enough to take a chance on a frame that is durable enough and has a nice geometry, do we have to study what kind of riding style it is made for?..

I'm predicting a nightmare where riders have to be front wheel only, or strictly rear wheel or a world where riders can't do pedal stuff with certain frames or.. or.. come on!..

A frame is a frame, it should suit the riders needs not the oposite.
[/ OFFTOPIC ]

That Double Diamond looks nice, love the new dropout style. And those cranks still look flimsy but now they support any sprocket, sweet.
