OK old schoolers...remember when every kid in town had one of these?

Will any of you admit to having had one?

/no, that bike is not actually mine.  I did have a Huffy Pro Thunder though

I had a red one back in 87. Someone tried stealing it in 88 but it got a flat tire and they ditched it.

I wanted one when I was a little kid but never got one. We couldn't afford a new bike, not even a Huffy. Ended up buying a used Murray from a friend instead for $20. It's amazing how popular that Huffy was just because it had wheel covers. Why in the hell did we think that was cool? Look at the handlebar back sweep! Look at the seat tube angle! Nearly every kid wanted that bike and it was total crap.

i never had one, but ill admit to ridin the hell out of my friends Sigma.
it was the best for doin sittin down wheelies cuz of that lax seat angle.
when he broke his in half, i got his wheel covers, stickered them up, and rocked those for a while.
they made the koolest sound when they rattled around. i cant explain the sound, but i liked it. ^_^
ill also agree...one of the worst bikes ever made, but damned if every other kid didnt want one. wish they had statistics of best selling department store bikes, cuz im sure this one would be right up there at the top next to the Huffy 626, another bike every other had or wanted.
crazy blast from the past! never thought id see a Sigma on G-F, let alone its very own thread. kudos! :P

Oh man, I remember the Sigma... never owned one though. Instead, I too had a Team Murray (Thundertrail, or something to that effect...). I remember at the time just loving my Murray though, and I owned distance jumping with that bike off of the hoopty brick and board jumps we used to build in my neighborhood  ;D

My first BMX was the Huffy Pro Thunder 2.  Look at that geometry, yikes!

I hated that bike, but alot of my friends had one. Back then, the best bike I ever had was a Shwinn Predator, with the small loop on the top chainstays. Simple geometry, simple design in function and appearance. I loved that bike! I wish I remember what the hell I did with it.

What's scary is that that Huffy Sigma, which was like the lamest bike ever in its day, looks like a better bike than what they sell in department stores / toy stores these days.  Kids' bikes these days look like spaceships.
