I would say that it is quite good especially for that low price, but it is not offering too much space under the downtube. I am not saying that you cannot ride properly on a DIV, but there are many things that are easier to learn if you buy a frame that is offering a bit more scuffing room. If you are still learning the basics, maybe the the WTP Sinus is a better buy.

As for the cranks, I would stay away from the alloy crank arms, no matter how discounted they are. I reckon the steel pedal inserts are always weak points. I would recommend the Premium Euro or the Wethepeople Royal cranksets that are lighter and stronger.

How about the Odyssey 41 Thermal Cranks? (http://www.flatlandfuel.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=849786%7C889269&PRID=1479011)

*Same price ($104.99)
*Lighter (than the Arestic Ice)
*Not alloy, but heat-treated chromoly cranks
*Installation/Removal tool Included
*Lifetime warranty

Whatever frame you choose, just check which bottom bracket it uses and choose the correct one. The Odyssey cranks come with euro or US.

Indeed. I guess any tubular CrMo from a reliable maker is better than the alloy ones if you plan to use the crankset for a long time. Having lifetime warranty is a good thing, but I like the simple looking cranks more. Plus, we sold at least 100 sets of WTP Royal cranks so far, and nobody has brought back any part of the set yet.
