Not great for tire pressure, or weight, but they look cool. I think John Huddleston rocked them way back in the day and he was bad a$$.

generaly tires blow up off the wheel at psi 60 and above
when using mag rims.   I have no idea why - but they do.
so low tire psi is a draw back.

they flex alot -   wich is cool if your doing miami hoppers.  but now adays....
not so much.

Old dudes can still rip

If you ride brakeless and roll your tricks straight line only, mag it up! If you plan on doing anything that requires decent braking and leaning the wheel over sideways (i.e. spinning), stay away from them.
I remember insisting on running mags on all my bikes back in the 80's... if I only knew then what I know now... haha.

oh ya heres the link

these wheels probably wont be worth it to u.
for one, they are built with Poverty Hubba-Bubba hubs. they arent the worst hubs in the world, but they are far from the best.
second, the rear hub is regular freewheel and will need to be upgraded to a freecoaster.
i mean, u can ride flat on a freewheel hub, but if u dont want the cranks to backpedal when ur rolling backwards-u will need a freecoaster, or coaster hub.
if u dont mind having to put out more cash for a freecoaster upgrade-go for it.
but also keep in mind that u will most likely need new spokes when u change the old hub out...theres more cash u gotta spend.

Hey !!SuPerPowerZ!!, I'd pass on that wheelset and look for something better.  You could even send an email over to Pat at Flatlandfuel .com and see if they have any cheap sets sitting around.

I clicked the link, looked at the pics and sorta skimmed over what was typed and said no way... Just giving my advice to help you choose something that will make and keep you happy.

Yup, for $160 you can do better. Figure with a freecoaster and spokes and lacing you'll invest at least another $100-$150, now you're talking $300 for a wheelset. For that scratch you could build up a pretty decent wheelset.

Just checked the GF marketplace and found a wheelset for $275 also a few back wheels and fronts (non sets out there)...Search the marketplace, the GF community is the best place to look for parts.

oh, so ur just worried about your rims doin a taco?
no worries dude...just keep your spokes tight and dont do any big gaps or whips.
if i just ride flat on ur single wall PBRs, u should be fine.
but keep em tight! ;)
