Chain and Sprocket ?
« on: December 29, 2006, 11:24:14 PM »
I`m planning on getting a new chain and i`ve set my sights on the KHE Tanga chain off of flatlandfuel.com. Does any one know if this chain will work with my current setup which is a Unity bikes deathstar sprocket and a taska freecoaster hub.

Thank You,

best way to find out is to click the little contact box on flatlandfuel.com and ask pat yourself. pats a cool guy and he checks his email alot.

just thinking its strange that i don't get the auto reply. don't want to rush pat at all. he's doing a great job. its just weird. plus it's the last days for the holiday giveaway. don't want  to miss out on all those goodies ;D

Unity bikes is a mountian bike compay so i think no it wont work as the KHE chain works with thin sprokets so sorry dude. just choose a normal chain and it will work

yeah, your not saving enough weight for it to be worth buying a new sprocket.

these new school tiny sprockets are a pain. It so exaggerates the lag in a freecoaster...

Sorry for the rant, I busted my knee on my stem the other night. And I was wishing for a good old 43 tooth...
