I weighed about 230 when I started riding and about 218 now. Im slowly loosing it. Exercise is way better than a crack diet.

5'8 - 230

Mostly muscle but about 25-30lbs overweight. For reference, when I was 22, I quit drinking/smoking cheeb, was on anti depressants - and had a bad reaction to the meds. I weighed all of 130lbs and was a skeleton. I worked out hardcore later on in life 27-30 and was at a low bodyfat % and weighed 205. D@mn winter coming up so no riding...my gym motivation w being a parent/husband sucks, and w/o the gym it's tough sticking to a healthy diet. I have gd luck w a low carb diet overall though. I've been at this weight for a bit so it's not like I'm a pig wolfing food down lol It's my maintenance weight  Oh those help me maintain my girly figure - beers that is...

I just got back from a 30 mile ride with this:

Even with grueling rides on a fixed gear, and food intake change, no weight loss. I've been averaging 100 miles +/- per week. Don't worry, I have a flatlandfuel sticker on the other side :)

Dion, the setup on your fixie looks mad long with those bars,  you must have a long torso and arms and be quite flexible for a big guy.

Anyway,  6'3", 215 soon to be 36, reconstructed left wrist and right knee.  Would like to drop to just about the 200 mark.  Weighed 185 while working as a bike messenger and vegetarian years ago looked somewhat sickly was too thin.

It looks long in the pic, but really not that bad in real life.
