Martti Kuoppa Flatland Experience Videogame

Probably most of you have heard of the flatland videogame that is being developed by Chapter One Projects ( http://www.chapter-one.or). Today Heikki Hirvonen the chief executive officer ( sounds quite important, doesn´t it? ;-) posted some news about the game in the pedalbmx.com board:
The complete demo of the game, will be ready in next spring 2005, then we have to find the publisher. If we will managed to do that, the whole game will be in stores, at the end of the year 2006. We will give closer details about the game and schedule, through our website.

Our KOG article will come a bit later then expected because the photos Travis made must be developed first which take about 2 days. So hopefully they will be ready tomorrow =)


Furthermore we updated the link section ( lot´s of companies in there now ) and we are working on the parts section and let me tell ya: it´s gonna be great ;-)

the only news I have is thats 2007 point five.

I personally believe the mockup video was to be used to try and generate funding for the development of the game. wheather or not that is true is specualtion but based on this theroy I doubt they have achieved external investment or the page itself would be more updated.

especially when the  "mockup" researchers go to the web and the first thing they always see is "we talked about this two years ago godamnit." or they figure out only two people in what ever hometown they are from ride flatland. lol

yeah i heard about this back in 2005.. whatever became of that game? and why is it being brought up now if the information is already 2 years old! give me answears!

i would love to see a stricktly flatland game besides the little bit u can do in Mat Hoffmans game, but i dont think the market is there for such a thing. it might have to be developed and funded in Japan to become reality, then we'll have to fight for bootleg copies here in the states. :P either that or just have a minimal number of copies made and sold thru bmx mail order companies such as flatlandfuel, Dans, etc instead of making millions of copies that will sit in the big stores with people walking by saying, "WTF IS FLATLAND"!? :rolleyes: lol
