I cannot really blame Shane for entering amateur. This was his second contest in Europe, and he does not really know about the level here.
He worked a lot on his consistency in the past few months, maybe that is what everybody has to do to get better contest results. I know it takes a lot of time, but if you want to do good at a contest, you have to work for it. And since there was no Masterclass, the amater class had all the masterclass level riders, too. And there are some riders with really nice and hard tricks...
