Flatland Music...
« on: October 29, 2006, 12:47:07 AM »
I'm a bit bored of what i hear when I#m ridin' Flatland....
at the Moment I'm listening to Nujabes and some Hip HOp Oldskool tracks like NWA......
I like the 80's stuff, some remixes would be cool,i like this slow, melodic hip hop but also the oldschool stuff. I Like House, espeacielly the stuff with vocals and 70's Disco Samples.....So what can you recommend?

i made a cd of a bunch of different songs that get me pumped up for flatland. a lot of them were songs that were in flatland videos. a lot of times when i hear a good song in a flat video ill download it and listen to it to get me pumped up to go ride and it works good

deffinitly make a cd or a playlist of all the songs that get you pumped up to ride. that works good for me

I listen to hip hop - mostly underground stuff - and here are who i listen to when i ride!!

Atmosphere
Sage Francis
Sole
Lupe Fiasco
Louis Logic
Pigeon John
The Roots

anything that comes out from Anticon (look em up - i think it is www.anticon.com or www.myspace.com/anticon)

Alias has some awesome beats out that are super mellow yet awesome to ride to

Hope this helps!

Wouldn't the earphones get in the way while you're trying to ride?

if you use something small like an ipod or an mp3 player it will fit right in your pocket and wont bother you and just use small head phones, the ones that go right in you ears
