someone has to start this thread again.....  who is going to go to the Fk'n Round Up?  Isn't that what us flatlanders secretly thrive for?  That attention?  To show off.  To not have the pressure of clearing your hardest trick under pressure?    PULLINING OUT THE OLD SCHOOL TRICKS AND HAVING FUN DOING THEM? Com On BROTHERS!!!!!  Let's go out to the fairgrounds and show off for the kids!!!  Let's show them how and why we got ADDICTED TO THIS SPORT.  Not go out there and be dicks or arrogant.  Be open for questions on top of questions.....  "CAN U POP A WHEELIE, CAN U DO A BACKFLIP, HOW LONG HAVE U BEEN RIDING, HOW MUCH DID YOUR BIKE COST.........ETC...  We have all been asked these questions.  Let's all go out to San Marcos, support Chris Balles and become PRO'S for a day!!!!!!!  No one out there is going to know the difference between a    CROSS FOOTED HITCHIKER TO TURBINE WHOOP DA WHOOP BLAH FUKN BLAH     AND  a  funky chickn   or a steam roller   or a DECADE.....   LET'S TRY AND IGNITE A FLAME THAT GOT ALL OF US STARTED IN THE 1ST PLACE.  THAT ONE TRICK OR THAT ONE ATTITUDE THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE AND MADE US RE-DIRECT OUR LIVES FOREVER!!!!!!!   COME OUT TO SAN MARCOS AND RIDE WITH THE PRO'S WE LOOK UP TO AND WANT TO RIDE LIKE.  LET'S SHOW THE KIDS WHAT BEING A FLATLANDER IS ALL ABOUT.  LET'S SHARE OUR PASSION AND DEDICATION............................
I'M OUT

I figured most already knew..but BMX Freestyler will be there taking pictures and shooting video. It will be a good time for sure. This is the 4th one in the Series. I just got in contact with some friends in Killen, TX. They will be out too.

News Update: I spoke with Chris on the phone and there will be a beginner/am Comp too. We will have more details up this weekend. I am having problems updating bmxfreestyler right now. As soon as I can fix that issue I will make the changes there too.

Stay tuned...and Keep on Riding!

I don't know why I keep reading this thread. It's just making me more and more depressed, as I won't be able to go this year.

Can someone lock it so I can stop pissing myself off over and over again?

Jowee, you ought to track down that "twin" of yours and have him cover for you that weekend. that would be tight.  I'm mega stoked on Roundup. I'm going to compete and possibly get my ___ handed to me, but it's totally worth it heh.

This is my first post ever! Now the Roundup is just around the corner. Once again, this contest is going to be a ton of fun like the past three years.  Make sure your there. Sat. Oct 11th     I know all you guys have been riding hard and progressing and I can't wait to see all your reps! Bring all the positive vibes cause that's exactly what kind of contest were gonna have!  Now I'm getting off this computer,  I have Hurricane Ike spinning to do! - Peace

I'm super stoked that everyone is so excited about this contest.  When we were planning it we didnt know what kinf of impact a "pro only" comp was going to have.  Well, now we know.  It was brought to my attention that the people see the TFR as a "grass roots" contest and to be honest with you, I had forgotten that that was what the very first TFR was all about.  So this is why we've decided to have an amature competition.  The TFR is right around the corner at this point so we dont have too much time to plan this.  I will keep everone posted on the details but so far since we've advertised a "no entry fee" contest we want to keep it that way, however as the orginizer this late in the game it's going to be pretty difficult to give you a definate dollor amount on the Am purse.  Anything over the adverstised pro purse amount will go towards the AM purse BUT, at this point I cant tell you how much that will be.  What I am asking for is that if you plan on competing in the AM contest to be prepared to give a 10 or 20 dollor donation.  We have other means of generating cash which will go towards the purse so the donation amount that we will ask for will fluctuate.   Keep checking this post and keep checking BMXFREESTYLER.COM for updates.

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words and for being so stoked on the TFR.  Its all about FLATLAND, it's all about brotherhoood, it's all about having a good time.
