Yeah man, all my Sickchilds (sickchildren?  ^_^) are perfect with chain tensioners on the inside. No issues.

So you have a new Metro and only one chain tensioner fits in?

I have an instrumental, thought the back ends should be identical. The wheel barely fit with just 1 tensioner, 2 was out of the question. I'm not sure if its because I'm using the old nankai with no decoration cap or what, I can take a pic if that helps

Odd. Not that is matters but what tensioners you running?

I wouldnt stress, if the one tensioner is fine and the wheel is in pretty straight id rock it, however if its giving you bother post a pic and/or contact Ed. Ill mention it to him tomorrow.

Anyone having issues with the tensioners in the new Metro's should file the paint off the inside of the dropouts (where the axle slots in).

The Quamen tensioners in particular have a small "shoulder" on them to sit nicely in the dropout slot.
This is all well and good, but the frames have a good coat of paint on them. This stops the tensioner being able to slot into the frame.

As i say, file out the slots a bit, just so the paint is gone and try again. . . problem should be solved. . . .

REPPING sickchild!! Thnks moncho and Ed at sickchild for making this AMAZING frame.

So insanly solid, NO FLEX compared to all the frames ive ridden.
Very light, weight is distributed so nicely.

I rode today 3 hours and I landed EVERything without trying to hard, and smoothly.

Def my FAV frame so far.

PEaz Ride onn.

Haha...I was actually thinking of messaging you Justin to ask how the Metro turned out for you. She turned out really nice. Nice brake-set and cranks as well.

Come on Ed, people want your bikes, stop making these small limited runs, it makes no sense.
