another tire topic
« on: August 13, 2008, 02:05:37 PM »
If u were to specify a tire for each riding surface, which tire would u use for each surface? I find that the G's are great on asphault, but not to confident on wood...and a little sketchy on epoxy-covered floors like auto garages

Well my novice tire experience of late:

ACS tru 100's... damn near a dirt tire to me... too knobby not sure where that falls
Freq's... good on anything clean, smooth or even slightly rough...not so great on dusty areas
Ares 88's 4 season whatever  - good for sh*t!!! Hated them
Elm streets - pretty good all around
Primo V monster - kinda like elm streets
Primo Walls - there pretty good all around general tires. They grab on dusty areas too

I run my G's at 120psi.. My friend has an osb riding area, and I drop all the time on it.

No dust for G's. I guess ASC's are for general use

i just wish they would make elm streets or walls in 1.75 or 1.5 sizes.. i would most def get them cuz they were amazing tires just to heavy..

elm streets we so amazing..scuffed so well, spun great, rolled smooth and gripped on almost anything without a prob

Nobody talk about KHE, what about them? I have been riding them for tow years and i feel comfortable on tiles marble wood and cement surfaces but i feel adhesive on  asphalt  no spin and very fast last
I rode as well the elmstreet and i think they are too much heavy but very durable good for asphalt
