The GT flat bikes are really nice completes... I'd rock one as a spare bike for sure, but they don't distribute them in the US.

"Encore" looks sweet, very nice shade of white, love that tone and nice specs too, I don't know however, considering other options on the market, If I'd spend money on a GT complete...

from a first look they seem to be almost the same as last years models. No evolution here. More of the same. But anyway, its good that GT is still making them.

Come back? What do mean by come back? They have always been around.
They have been making this Finale bike for about 2 or 3 years but without success. I guess GT flatland died since the GT SHOW.
From there site, I see they have Billy Gawrych and Bo Wade on there airshow team.

I had a GT ENCORE 2006 and it looks like that they are allmost the same as 2007 model (I mean specs and etc).

As for me it was my first flat bike (I mean real FLAT bike, because i had been riding flat at least a year before i got it). I want to say that they are not bad for starters. Geometry is good BUT they are rather heavy. GT Encore Complete was about 14kg or a bit more.
I am still using wheels, stem and a fork from GT (money problems) and I don`t like them. Wheels are not bad but as for stem and fork, they seem to be street...
Maybe I am not right but I won`t recommend GT Bikes for those who are non-starters...
Better to ride not so smooth but with your own style, than trying to be a copy.
