handlebars for shorter people
« on: August 16, 2008, 05:02:32 PM »
As a shorter person (5 ft 6) it's quite difficult getting my le over the handlebars!

Which handlebars are good for shortstuff McGee like me?

If you want a low cross tube, the London bars have the lowest . If you want the overall height low, Odyssey make bars under 7''.

swissmiss bar.
run it no head shims.

I only use 5mm head shim on mine - and they feel low still
but I love them.
never have to worry about them falling out of place,  or wondering what angle
is good to ride bars at.
Old dudes can still rip

No one mentioned Mike S bars... those would probably work well too if you can handle the true zero offset.
