« on: July 25, 2008, 07:43:24 PM »
Ok, so I've got spinning peg manuals down, how do I get them to turbine!?

What comes first? Megaspin or Turbine?

Anyone have any tips?

Cheers

megaspin first i think.
although i learned turbine first.
they both might take a while, the trick in the turbine is to move your leg that is in the air front and back from you..
this is what pushes the bike..not your hands
i ll might post a video just to see what i mean next week.
i am learning normal megaspin scufless ,i havent seen somebody else do it yet.
i ll post a video with both tricks in a combo when i find time to film it..

Mega spin isn't a scuffing trick anyways. so I guess you got that part right :P You kick the tire not scuff... Also, I recommend doing turbine peg wheelies first, they came easier to me. But each person is different, I say just try them both out and see.

its all in the motion of your hips. I just got the hang of them before I broke myself.

More or less you want to really pivot the bike along with your feet ever so slightly, it takes practice spinning in circles on your back pegs only without the scuffing.

@KineticNRG...If Sakis says he can do scuffless megaspins, he can. It sounds a lot like a megaspin without touching the tyre at all, using only pumping. Powering the megaspin by the kinetic energy from his leg.  ;D  Sakis is one of the best back wheel riders I've seen.
