I Feel Kinda Awesome
« on: July 04, 2008, 10:26:51 PM »
I can dork wheelie for a few feet now. I am close to finding my balance on this bike!
I feel proud of myself. Even though on my old bike i could dork wheelie for days and
do a few other things on it. Now that i have this close to 23lbs bike, balance is crazy
to find haha. Been practicing trackstands too. . .but not close to hittin' those down.
Well. Don't know who will read this. But it makes me happy to be getting somewhere
again with riding after a 2 year stand still of nothing. But good practice makes perfect!

Sweet!

Damn a 23 lb. bike? Don't ride it in a windy area, it might blow away from underneath you!  ^_^

Congrats!   I just started riding reccently and have been working on peg wheelies.  I've got them down to doing a pretty wide 180 so far.  I was so stoked first time I landed one haha.

And I nearly landed my slow Raph bike flip into a caboose yesterday. ;D

And then earned 50 quid playing some old soul and funk in my function band last night. ;D Aah it's all good.

I just got some light cranks and my bike is almost impossible to control now, I never thought I would regret losing weight, I kinda want my weight back..

Awesome man!   I started about 2 weeks ago and I JUST got the hang of peg wheelies and can do it for about 100 feet now.  Yesterday I pulled off my first firehydrant and am still freaking out.  Ride on!

Dork wheelies are a trick that will always be used from beginner to pro it has so many variations and tricks that stem from it. Halfhikers are pretty fun once you get them. try pushing the frame forward that will help you with that.
