How tall are you?
« on: June 23, 2008, 06:33:59 PM »
I don't see many short guys doing flatland in the videos, especially short 5'6" asian guys like me.   Do you think guys with height have an advantage over shorter riders?  So, how tall are you?

6'6" here.
I think shorter guys have a better center of gravity but taller guys have more leverage.

Naw.  Flatland isn't difficult.  Getting a blowjob is harder.

Have you seen Hiro, York or Shintaro?  Shorter means lower center of gravity which makes things better believe me.

I am 6ft tall and I don't see that as an advantage at all.  Except with the ladies.

the harry edge og 6'7 and its definetly not an advantage unless your doin deathtrucks , but i will say we giants that ride flat have more leverage and it looks more impressive when your twice the size of your bike haha

I'm 6'3" - 6'4"

I'll go along with the leverage/center of gravity argument, but by the time you're done growing, you are already used to your height.

I don't think being taller or shorter is necessarily "better," but it will probably affect your style and preferences a bit.

I'm 5ft. 2 inch, 22 yrs old.   the tall guys deffinitly got an advantage when it comes to leverage.  But in the end, it doesnt matter. Keep working hard & riding
