« on: June 22, 2008, 11:50:57 AM »
The kick off of 2008 BMX Flatland world circuit Round1, Flatland Voodoo jam took place at the Generation Center, New Orleans USA on May 31st. Among enthusiastic audiences filled up the building, 20 riders from France, Czech Republic, Japan, England and USA battled for the honor of world best rider. After 7 tough battles in the final tournament, the 2 survivors for the grand final were, Youhei "Ucchie" Uchino all the way from Japan, Tokyo and Matt Wilhelm Chicago, USA. Ucchie showed fluent rear tricks clean and Matt against Ucchie with his patented super fast spinning, G-turn moves. The result was Ucchie´s first victory of an international contest and bid for the 2008 World championship.

Now we are looking forward to Round 2 at The BMX Masters in Cologne Germany 4th - 6th of July. Last but not least the current ranking: World Circuit 2008.

the pros need to watch out for Domonik Nokolny. Dude's got it going on, and will be one of the top dogs to keep your eye on in Germany. Much props to you, Dominik!!

I agree. Lets see if Ucchie can hold on to it. Or Wilhelm may get hot as well. Who knows. Matthias is in there too. Im curious and I can't wait to see them all at the Masters.
