yes head tube is tiny,  and spacer are under it.
probly to mellow out steep head tube angle.

kinda neat idea,  you get frame at 76.5 ht angle - spacer it to 74.5 actual
and have the ability to switch to any ht angle in between them ^
to try and see how you like it best.

its probly verry hard on headset bearings tho,  being such a narrow area
of load to transfer to on the head tube.   still - cool idea.

That frame looks too dangerous.. seriously. I would get a life insurance if I bought one of those.

Hope that in a couple of months I don't hear anyone complaining about how fast it cracked..

or car filler, back triangle warped and internal  headset needing to hit in with a hammer... just somethings to watch for

I think Chimera guys are just trying too hard. Think simple, act simple, build quality stuff, that frame WILL give you a bad name..

Bri-Jon i think the headset issues where your own fault.

There is a difference between Internal & Integrated headsets. One will not fit the other.

i think the headtube was eggshaped and that's why it didn't go well. I'm guessing the heat from welding deformed the headtube.

Ok I said the wrong word I know Internal headset are different. But mine are ovalized by heat. Same as the the rear end.
Its not my fault as I designed my frame and asked for a intergrated headset. Also did I mention I had to remove the paint from in there aswell.

this is my third chimera frame and i thing that chimera frames are super ultra mega etc. Welds are ugly but stark, and for me welds are trivial thing. most important things in frame for me are: 1st weight/resistance, 2nd geometry, 3rd color ..... 436th welds.

THX  But I must agree with Maksymilian. You frame was working by the way, didn't crack. I can't say that about your next expensive frame which horribly bend after 2 weeks? And this frame was 'take it out of the box and put parts on and should fit'
Chimera frames are strong, not so good looking on welds but strong. And all problems are  far away and done ! I will uptade a few photos soon !

YOU SIR,  HAVE WON THE INTERNETZZZ!!!!! DUMBASS.

really, everyone needs to get out of zin's nuts. his work needs to be improved A LOT, period. no need to defend him and he should take this as building critisism, not an attack.

Zin, please come back later with your most updated frame. but this time, please DO YOUR BEST. if you can't come up to that standard, you're wasting our time.
