Ontario to York, Who's In? York Locals Read To!
« on: June 05, 2008, 05:25:39 AM »
Myself, Alex Poirer and my girlfriend are planning on going to York.  We have room for one or two (someone has to sit bitch in the back, '98 Accord) more people in my car.

If anyone wants to split gas and possibly hotel let me know.

Tentative plans are drive up Friday (hopefully leave before 5ish) from Hamilton to arrive in York late Friday night.  Check in Friday night to a hotel, or if a local rider close to the spot can host us all the better, and check out early Sunday morning.

Gas with four people should hopefully be no more then 50 bucks a person.  Hotel at the Four Points York, which is apprently a decent hotel five minutes from the spot, would be 65 bucks each with four people.  The Red Roof in is cheaper but it seems to be booked solid through Expedia.

So around 120 bucks to goto York and have a good time.  Let me know if anyone is interested.

So Ontario, get off the internet and come and ride.  I know it might be scary to leave the province, but I believe in you! haha.  Stop expecting people to come jam in Ontario if only a few of us is willing to make it out to other jams!

If you guys are coming in Friday evening, contact "blah" about having a place to stay.  He may be able to help you out and save you some $$$.  Then you party down Sat. night and head back up on Sunday.

Hey Adam, Danielle and I are gonna make our way down there Friday afternoon.  We're roughing it with the rest of them at a camping conservation site. This camp ground has all the amenities; showers, swimming pool, electricity. It'd be cool if you and Al made it out there, too. So we'll have at least 4 Ontarian flatties representing.

It looks like Adam Jakomait's favourite brown man (that's me!) should be making the trip down as well.  So looking forward to finally making it to the legendary York Jam series, even if the spot has changed (and from what I've seen/heard, changed for the better).

Yes it's at a new spot that no longer requires you to get a tetanus shot prior to riding there. It's also not sloped like \
