what bike?
« on: May 30, 2006, 04:04:09 PM »
Just sold my street bike in order to get a flatland bike and a bit stuck on what to get. Thinking either equilibrium complete or custom build suelo simple with suelo, odyssey profile and khe parts. Or one of the khe L.E frames with khe parts. If i go for a custom build should i go with a nankai or khe geisha freecoaster?

if you read french, go to :

Maybe it can help you.

If you choose the KHE, verify that the axles can be found if you break one. I didn't do that before I bought my Ares Boo. There are no axles in no shops, so I pray...

as i having problems finding parts for
some of my bike but i should have it all sorted
out and tip top shape by the time i leave for costa rica.

you gotta make sure you can get replacement parts
if you buy certain bike parts
that is for sure

kgb psyconexion is very good , i have this and the riding is amazing easy: low toptube y downtube, and space in a backwheel tricks.  the khe tantra frame looks very good. new geometry : = angles 75 75 and very short rearend.  if you pull  spinning tricks is better the sealed bearing hubs, better rolling performance.

Go nankai rear with Ti axle or Geisha; both decent hubs. Quamen makes some decent (and light) frames as well. Some people are really split about the integrated F-set with KHE, but I think it isn't bad at all as long as you grease it. I've got a dragonfly fork and handlebars on mine and the feeling of zero offset is awesome.
