So far so good..!!  My friend has the Tantra, it's a nice ride.    I collected model cars myself, too :)

Nope, those are minimal offset Odyssey pro flat forks. They looked like my best bet for what I wanted to do with the bike.

I'm going to get it together before I decide whether to cut the bars... I think I'm going to cut off at least a half inch off them though. They're just temporary anyway until I can afford $100+ bars. They were $25 through flatland fuel - can't beat that price!

I am also building up a Tantra.  Same yellow and everything.  All I have is the frame, bars, brake levers, bars ends, and grips, so it's not worth posting yet.

KHE Phil Dolan bars?  I was thinking about those but got the old '07 St. Martin Demons instead off FF a few months back.  Lookin' good.
being small has it's advantages...

nice set up so far.. the black post would be a plus to the look. if your lookin for rims, take a look at the fly rims.. i've ridden them now for a few months and i love them. i;ve slammed and smashed them and there still tru. the extreme cross lace to them keeps things inline. you can run the spokes loose and get some good flex on the wheel too..

This is actually a budget build (ha, since when is $1200 a budget build?) so I'm going with the radial laced Hoffman Generator/Nankai freecoaster setup Flatland Fuel has for $200. White rims of course. It's going to look sweet when it's done.

I'm old school, so yeah, it's going to have cranks. However, I'm setting it up with 145MM Odyssey Phat Black Widows with an aluminum spindle in black with white Odyssey plastic pedals and a white We The People 25T sprocket and white KMC hollow pin chain. I think that will look sweet.
